Dell has official announced a rugged convertible notebook, Latitude XT2 XFR, it is equipped with 12.1-inch turning “multitouch” display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. We already wrote this rugged tablet PC but it is from FCC site source.

Dell Latitude XT2 XFR is rugged laptop case meets U.S. military standards, MIL-STD 810F. They are provides 3ft Transit Drop, Rain, Blowing Dust, Vibration, Functional Shock, Humidity, Altitude and Temperature Extremes (Operating: -10ºF to 140ºF (-23ºC to 60ºC); Non-Operating: -40ºF to 158ºF (-40ºC to 70ºC)).


The Dell Latitude XT2 XFR also has meets IP-54 certified protection, such as Ingress of dust does not interfere with the operation of equipment (Level 5 Dust Protection) and no harmful effects from any practical direction (Level 4 Splashing Water).

The Dell Latitude XT2 XFR rugged convertible tablet PC is built on an Intel Core Duo SU9600 processor with a frequency of 1.6GHz, a 5GB of RAM DDR3, 160GB HDD or 64GB - 128GB SSD, and an Intel GMA 4500MHD GPU.

Dell Latitude XT2 XFR tablet PC is provides Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n, and Bluetooth. The Dell Latitude XT2 XFR notebook has three USB 2.0 port, audio jack, VGA out, and a RJ-45 port.
