Motorola Droid phone from Verizon Wireless

Motorola and Verizon Wireless U.S. mobile operator has finally submitted mobile phone, Droid.

New Motorola Droid is executed in the side slider form factor, it is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution 480×854 pixel, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and image stabilizer, a slot for microSD memory cards of up to 32GB (include 16GB), Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, 3.5mm jack for headphones, GPS receiver, and triaxial accelerometer.


Battery of Motorola Droid has capacity of 1,400mAh and provides up to 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 11 days of standby time. New Motorola Droid is supports networks CDMA2000 1x EV-DO rev. A 800/1900 MHz.


Motorola Droid is operates under Google Android 2.0 operating system. Dimensions of Motorola Droid are 115.8×60x13.7 mm and weight is 169g.
The cost of new Motorola Droid will be $199 (of course, subject to the two-year contract with Verizon Wireless). Sales of Motorola Droid will begin on November 6.
